When did you have your first intimate (romantic or platonic) conversation with a Black or Brown person?
I met my now wife at 21-years of age. She was the first South Asian person I’d shared an intimate conversation with. I remember that I’d never heard of Diwali despite over 1 billion people worldwide celebrating the occasion.
