Help Shape What Comes Next: Contemporary Arts & Cultural Practice

BlindianProject is seeking advisors with experience in contemporary arts and cultural practice as we build the next phase of our work.
Who helps cultural work become sustainable?
Since 2020, BlindianProject has explored how history, power and inherited beliefs shape relationships within and between communities. Rooted in Black and South Asian encounters, our work extends to wider questions of identity, difference and belonging.
Through archival research, exhibitions, publishing and public programming, we examine histories that are rarely told together and the relationships they continue to shape.
As our work develops, we're thinking more intentionally about the partnerships, resources and organisational structures needed to sustain it.
We're Looking for Advisors
We're inviting artists, curators and cultural producers to join our advisory board and help us develop cultural partnerships, explore opportunities for exhibitions and commissions, and bring research-led work into public spaces.
We're particularly interested in people who understand the challenges of building independent cultural initiatives while protecting artistic freedom and research integrity.
These are voluntary, non-statutory advisory positions, with an anticipated two-year commitment beginning in 2027.
Help Build What Comes Next
BlindianProject has grown through storytelling, research, education and cultural exchange. Our priority now is to build sustained programmes, meaningful partnerships and the paid operational capacity needed to deliver them.
We're bringing together advisors with complementary experience to help shape this next phase.

Interested, or know someone who might be a good fit? We'd welcome a conversation or introduction.
